I enjoy taking pictures of nature and landscapes as I hike and camp. Since I stay up long nights as part of my research as an applied astronomer, I have experimented with long exposures and nighttime astrophotography. Sensors such as focal plane arrays and cameras are an integral part of my research and give me much experience for this hobby.
